Hey guys! So I got an ask yesterday request how I have HQ screens and I decided why not brand a little tutorial :D

(HQ 1 & 2) Considering Tumblr made me size my images down a lot. These pictures are unedited and I keep my own personal Reshade setting in at all times.

And then before we get into anything, I run on the ULTRA, but you don't necessarily need to exist running on the highest settings. Merely below are my settings…

So the first step in taking HQ screens is Lighting. If your taking screenshots with a background like the to a higher place moving picture I propose getting a good lighting mod. The main choice you should be focused on is (Load Contour, Recent Profile) and (Faux Fullscreen) Load/ Recent contour is where you choose the size. Now the size depends on the computer you take and if yous cull something to loftier and so SRWE will freeze and information technology may or may non crash sims 4. I recommend testing what size you can use first earlier taking the screenshots. I use 8000x8000 I advise starting at 3000x3000 first and working your way upward to your liking.

Okay and so now that your epitome is open copy (CTRL+J) the WHOLE image meaning if y'all have layers merge them all, this trick should be used when you're done your pictures!

Adjacent, you need to desaturate the photo. To practise that you got to Image/Adjustments/Desaturate at the bottom. In one case y'all do that your photo should be in black or white.

Once your epitome is in black and white you need to convert to the black and white layer to a Smart object. To do that you just right click on the layer and (catechumen to smart objects) You should see a little file on the bottom right corner of the layer image.

Next what you do is go to filter/ other/ highpass. when you click you should get something that looks like this…

Now when y'all get to this window you tin can adjust it to your liking I commonly don't practise it every bit harsh because it sharpens a fiddling too much. one time you adapt it click ok.

Your image should now look like this. Finally what you do is click the carte that says (normal) and click soft light and boooomm You got an HQ photograph!!!
